Hey there guys,

I want to turn my 94'Yamaha YZF-600R Thundercat into a Streetfighter. There are a whole bunch of things I want to change and upgrade including my Cluth and break levers, footpegs and bar grips and bar ends ect, but I cant find any websites that have parts for my model? Is there any places online or anything like that, that sell generic parts? Also, is anyone familiar with ceramic coatings? I want to get the pipes coming out of my exaust header done becuase currently they are black and dull. Any other tips or mods that I could use, online stores to browse and prices would be greatly appreciated!

My Jaw just dropped looking at those pictures. I have already pulled off all the fairing and have had some idea of what I could create but that is great! Wow. Thankyou for the welcome and the point in the right direction :D

No worries Dude..

Just curious is it a YZF or an FZR.. looks very FZRish to me.. but I'm not up to scratch on my 600's

Depending on your budget you could pick up many of the things your after off ebay..

Are you going to put MotoX/Fatbars/Pro tapers with risers or are you sticking with clip ons?

If you can't find levers for your model, go get yourself a brake master and clutch perch off another model.. saaay an R1. and then buy levers to suit them, much easier.. Pazzo's, CRG, FP racing are great quality - all available in Australia and for good prices..

Grips are 99% Generic only differing on grip pattern/density etc..

You can buy universal footpegs usually annodized in any colour and you can fit them with very little mods to your existing rearsets..

Or if your budget allows buy a complete set of rearsets pro-tek, sato, harris just to name a few..

There are a couple of places in Australia that you could send your pipes to for ceramic coatings.. http://www.jet-hot.com.au/ being one of them... don't be scared to send parts away..

Ebay is great for parts but check out these threads to give you a shove in the right direction..

Ebay is your friend. With the recent price of the Aussie dollar US ebay is a good place to shop too.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

Gitzy its defiantly a YZF, just double checked the compliance plate on the framework. Something I have come across in my research, is that the YZF600R Thundercat was only brought into production in 96' where this is without a doubt a 94'. So factory original maybe?

And I have started stripping it apart, going to post some pics now.
