Soapy water always helps me dude.. usually slides on and then dries..

metho it dry amost as soon as there on and no slimmy feeling,,

Hairspray is another good option.

Thing with hairspray is you got to put shitloads on, then slide it on real quick, then it sets like glue.

Compressed air is the best - 'float' them on.

soapy water works good, air is a big help to. Did both to put grips on over heat pads on betty a few weeks ago poped on so easy was great.

compressed air wiz surely you know someone with a compressor and a air gun/nozzle stick the nozzle under the first part you can get on the bar and you should be able to as Ben said float them on
