Has anyone used some of these cheap filters? any good? any reason not to use them?

I am thinking about getting 2 for my XS... so definitly not a high performance engine! :P

60mm inlet? You might want to measure your carbs to make sure (my ones on the GS450 were 52mm).

I was just using that one as an example. There are heaps of sizes on there.

Just don't buy the chinese brake pads made from grass or the oilfilters made from toilet paper

Mate I've had a set from the same supplyer since a week after AFR10 and they have just fell to bits , the glue holding the whole shibang together just let go. One had the end cap come off the other of 4 let go on the rubber mount side. They have done some miles though I averaged about 5 hours riding every day up until about 3 months ago mostly just around the local area town n such. The last 3 months I average about 1200 a week just for work plus prob another 600 a week for pleasure. At a guess they would have done about 18,000 before falling to bits and some glue would have sorted them for another 18,000 i'd guess they seem to hold up ok to washing etc ok the filter part of them is A ok still.
