I fucked my knee last week at work and having had an MRI and spoken to the Specialist yesterday he want to operate. So I'm bound for another 6weeks lying around going fucken crazy while I recover followed by more rehab physio.

I'll see if I can get the docs to take some photos of the op while I'm out to it to post up online here. After all there's nothing like a good pic to liven up the day...

It's going to be all keyhole but I'll see if they'll get some of the bits they stick in hanging out. That would look pretty cool I reckon

they can give you photos of the inside too, not that it will mean much unless we know what were looking at

keyhole surgury sucks...no bad scars to show the chicks. And I don't know what they did to my knee, but if you touch one side of it it feels like you're touching the other side (if that makes sense)

^ easy - they got the red and white tendons around the wrong way - your stereo nerves are reversed.

I'm only just now getting mobile again after 2 months in/out of hospital + 5 surgeries. Funny how while you're healthy and at work you'd KILL for a day off (sometimes nearly literally), but once you've been stuck at home in bed for a few weeks you'd kill to be back at work!

Keyhole is good shit, had my acl done a few yrs ago and within a week of the op ,walked a lap at the moto GP
Hope yours go as well as mine did..

Thanks guys, I've been off work for almost 2weeks and I'm already going stir crazy.

My Mrs is wonderful and copping it really well, but I need to get it done and get back to work or be doing something so I think it's going to be daily gym sessions to <s>perve and</s> stop me blimping out. I can't work the injured leg, but I can do everything else so here's to it.
