Ok so I bought a Honda
A local guy had it for sale on his lawn. 97 model 60000 k's and $3500.
a quick look around...it needs brakes, front tyre and seat, and a good clean.
$3000 later I'm riding it home...no rego or roadworthy

More visual stimulation Gary, take note the Tank Infill panels (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Honda-CBR-1100-XX-Rahmenblenden-Streetfighter-/230378097924?pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item35a39acd04) available from Gemo fighters.. $140 Aus.. pricey but geez they look smooove.. also the Front Fender (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Honda-CBR-1100-XX-Streetfighter-Kotflugel-Fender-Gemo-/230378488505?pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item35a3a0c2b9) $140 Aus also from Gemo... and lets not forget that Nice Tail (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Streetfigher-Heck-Virgin-Gemo-Fighters-Sitzbank-/230378291905?pt=Motorrad_Kraftradteile&hash=item35a39dc2c1) $362 Aus, oh and would you look at that, from Gemo also.. Bit of a subliminal message here.. too subtle?? lol.

hi mate,a mate of mine is building a bird fighter,he was told that you can ap the ends of the oil cooler and run without it,have u heard of this, can a line be made to block off the oil cooler..........???

pommie02
13-10-2010, 08:12 AM
I was thinking along the same lines, the oil cooler needs moving or blanking off.

drewboy
13-10-2010, 05:09 PM
You could move the oil cooler under the rad like the white one, that looks alright, but i'd put a rad guard of some sort on it. Or you could integrate it into a cool bellypan, Ducati Streetfighter style (sorry for calling it that by the way).
The stock radiator is an awesome size and shape, perfect for a fighter!

That looks the goods. As long as the heat from the headers doesn't affect it much that is. i would keep an eye on it for the first few rides, just in case

Hey Pom that tail looks pretty cool mate. Have you thought about ditching the airbox and stickin it under the tank kinda set up? Mind you I dont know to much about blackbirds and what is under the tank.

skoerbin
11-01-2011, 04:16 PM
that tail looks cool, did it just bolt straight onto the subframe? or did you have to do some mods?

Gitzy
11-01-2011, 04:24 PM
The front stand is throwing me off a bit Pom.. I mean with the tail, I reckon its gotta come up just a touch to match the top tank line.. I tried tilting my head but that didn't help [:o)].
