I put a VR2 dash unit on my Harris and the tacho is reading backwards - starts high and drops as you rev the bike.
It is the same on both sides of the coils
Any ideas?

Mate, I got one on another bike and it works fine.
I just braved the elements and took the Harris out - the tacho reads 13000 at idle and then runs erratically backwards until the bike hits an indicated 2800 RPM where it magically reverts to normal and runs flawlessly - WTF

i had a couple of issues with mine, if you have a dyna ignition is it hooked up to the 5v tacho output.
don't let the wires to the unit run near the coils and plugs if you can avoid.
