Hi, am new in this forum and hoping to get some advice at a later stage to get my Katana PopUp up and going. Will be striping her down and get the frame sorted, engine/carbs rebuild and respray.

Ahhhh memories ! My first ever ride on a big bore was a pop up katana, I was about 15 or 16 at the time and I couldnt believe the guy that owned it let me ride it as it was virtually brand new !
I was amazed at how fast it was.

Ahh good question. I've get approval from my empress so that's not an issue now but at the end I really need to find out if there's any work project going now then I won't be able to make it as my living depends on contract projects. Also I need to get the Katana PopUp up and running as well.

I'm hoping to find a good mechanic to have the Katana engine look at and maybe have it rebuild. Any recommendation?

I haven't done much yet. I've just been collecting parts. I have an 08 busa frontend to go on as well as a busa swingarm. Next thing to buy is a rear wheel.

Well mine with have a GSXR750 complete frontend and swingarm to swap out with the stock one.

Yes I do :) and that is the reason why I am here to find out what I can do to my PopUp Kat. The bikes which I have posted is the request from members here.

frank is putting a GSXR WN front n rear into his pop up kat , i think that fits into the modified/customised bikes of ASF it will have a custom seat as well
