Another forum im on,has a similar topic,so i thought i'd try and start one here.

I reckon its okay, coz some of us dont have time to trawl the net for bargains,or unusual stuff, that some of us in here might be interested in,or could come in handy.

So i reckon if you come across something of interest, bikes, parts, whatever, post it up on here.
Whenever i get a chance to trawl,i come across afew things here and there, but dont want to start a new topic, just for it.

Not sure if its against any rules for this area, but im sure the mods will let me know soon enough.

I'll start with this,

Its only $2000 and in Vic,maybe someone here is interested?

that thing is still getting around i have had a close up look and if you want to remove the tank you have to pull half of the bike apart to do so but its cheaper than last time i saw it .....

and as for this topic in general i know alot of guys here spend alot of time on ebay bidding only to get sniped at the last minute buy possibly another member i reckon there is nothing worse than being onto a bargain only to end up seeing it on here and then have a shitload of competion just my 2 cents worth but i know this topic has been about here before so lets see what the rest of the guys think

Same here.

No harm in a thread to post up some of the weird and wonderful,
vastly over priced, or freaky odd ball stuff but not to post up
stuff that folk are to lazy or dumb to find them self's.

Then again, free world, if you want to out bid me go for it.

^^^good points guys, but alot of stuff i put on my watchlist, and no one bids on it anyway!!

The thing i hate with ebay is,if you're looking for parts, for instance,i've currently i've got two blades in my garage,i can put in cbr 900rr,cbr900,cbr fireblade,cbr1000,cbr1000rr etc,and you get different listings in different searches.

Some people just list honda blade parts, and you'll never find it,unless you check out all of the parts and accessories,on a daily basis, and click on latest listings.

Also, unless you check newly listed daily/often,you'll never pick up on the spelling mistakes, and there's heaps of them, and no search is gonna find them, and thats where all the best bargains are!!

With alot of items on eGay,its advertising and putting your item out there for 10 days,or whatever, and most of the bidding happens in the last minute or so anyway.

Anyway,it might just end up being a spot to put up the weird, wonderful and over priced stuff like Tony says???

do a search and tick the box to check heading and listing

there is then a link to save this search

save the search , you then get daily emails , my email comes in about 1am and i check them out first thing in the morning

saves dicking around through ebay , you get an email with the heading and pics and can quickly see something , even if its been placed in the wrong category

It to my knowledge the most powerful B King in the world and is most definately the fastest in the world having recorded a speed of 209.5mph (335kph) in the standing mile(this was not flat out....i believe there is a 220-230 to be had)out of an unfaired bike.

The bike has only ever been run on super unleaded which means it can be run up to 12 psi giving you roughly 340bhp.....but to be fair i only usually run it at 6 psi which is still 280 bhp. However use some C16 race fuel and wind it up to 30psi and it will wheeley off the power in 6th at silly speeds with 550+ bhp!!!

Yeah, he's the real deal.

He's a regular on the B-King forum and at BigCCracing.
He's posted up a few 400 and 500hp dyno printouts and clip's.
I just found his "33psi, 501.68bhp and 255.4ft/b torque" post
but I think he's had more work done since.
I know the figure "£25000" was mentioned.

The H was the same all the fun of the fair.
The J got the 3 spokes those it gave the edge.
The K then arrived and went in the hedge.
The L got trick forks and tech reached new heights.
The M got more weight and fancy headlights.
The N got new a paintjob the M's better it's said.

Thats a bit steep for a Lotus Twin Cam Escort Tony. One of my mates had one and did a bit of rallying in 1973 or 1974. In fact he lived just around the corner from you in the Habberley Estate. I went for a spin with him one night up to Trimpley and it was very quick. Brings back a few memories.

Yup that's your old Bandit Gitz. Asking price is pretty damn rude after what he paid for it ! We don't speek these days, he turned out to be a bit of a user. He also tends to buy a few damaged bikes and then floggs them online, background is normally the same.

It will tear your arms off and power lift the front in 1st and 2nd easily...
maybe 3rd (I wasnt game to try)"

Reminds me of the XB coupe that was running on a land cruiser chassis I think. A waste of a good car... but still well awesome.

Interesting.

If I wasnt out of work and moving house i'd be keen.
Stick my Bandit 12 motor in a slingshot frame as a project.
Stick an oilcooled 750 lump in my Bandit frame as a rat-bike.
