How do I clean my Engine

Tryin to get my spare engine ready for paintin. Took the sump plate off, the 100bar pressure washer didn't touch it. The carborundum coated plastic bristle rotating brush didn't touch it and the rotary wire brush struggled. It's covered in burnt on oil and ally oxide. What do you guys recommend???

oven cleaner is worth a shot, or get it sandblasted...

I'd go with the soda blasting , been doing a little sand blasting myself of late and its a little harsh on alley

Soda or even glass bead blasting won't damage it. If they use grit not so good. It will come out lighter they you put it in :D
