Sorry for the cynicism, but if you've been lurking a while you'll know that it's been done quite a few times before.
Anyways,
I've got a hard drive here that I'll bang in the post to you for postage price.
Not massive, without looking, my guess is it's 20 to 30GB.
I could "purchase" and load XP or Windows 7 on it, and your kids could get back into doing their school stuff.
This will allow your kids to have a running computer and allow you to keep your kwaka.
