Well i have booked in for some new tyres tomorrow.

I have opted to go for some fairly sticky ones, because i figure it's coming up to summer, so i will be doing more weekend riding and for the price i figure i should er on the side of stickiness.

So i am getting a power pure on the front and pilot power 2ct on the back (no pilot pure 160's in aus yet) for a little under $500

Those 2ct's are an awesome tyre mate, got about 8 thou out of the last one, and it was mainly used for hard riding through the mountains. Hard as shit in the middle for highway riding and super stick for the corners. I was impressed with mine. Apparently the Pure"s are meant to be grouse too.

2ct's are OK. I have them on one of mine.
Shame your not up here,
Mick's doing Dunlop GPRa11's $400.00 a set
(and I think that's fitted and balanced)

I pay more than that for Qualifiers and Powers.

I had the GPRA11's on my track bike and they are brilliant. Really quick to warm up and are sooo grippy :)

just picked it up and got out of there for $480. decent service, only rang last night to book in for this morning.

These tyres already feel better than the other crap that i had. The feel so much more ready to lean in to turns. it has made the bike feel 20kg lighter! (this is just from the trip from the tyre joint to work... so 1km :P) Ihope to get out somewhere this weekend if weather permits and have a bit of a play with em.
