unfortunatly between the dash and the tail wiring assy was this sh1t fight. have spent nearly two weeks sorting this out only to get it working properly and not be able to finish wrapping it up it cause ive got the flu!!! can barely see straight let alone retape the wiring properly.

FUCKING DISASTER!!!!

I filled up on flu tabs, got up early to a strong coffee and headed to the shed.

finished wiring up and before I taped it all and tied it in place i tested it.
all the warning lights lit up,the dash works, the engine cut out works the neutral shut out works, blinkers blink etc, etc.the fucker ever starts and runs. YEE HAA i thought.
taped the wiring, fitted it into place and cable tied it up.
went to test again then the smoke from the remote start box escaped shortly after burning half the wiring out.
SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT.
FARK
BOLLOX.
is the pub open yet?

p.s. the remote start box is fucked!
HEY BEN. can i get away with running a small strand of wire from the power in on the board to the soldered joint and again back out?
you know, the one where those copper? plated lines that used to be on the circuit board were?

After seeing these pics I decided Pommy Shaun is EVIL.
The subframe is better than the rest. Now i have to do a great job on the rest to do his work proper justice.

Thanks Shaun.: )

ok new problem!
got a cbr 900 front end off Nick.
biggest problem is theyre about 70mm too short. everything else fits easy. same head stem bearings, although i have to swap the stem for the longer 1000 one,17" front wheel fits srraight in just change the spacers, brakes fit . just the forks are too short.

anyone got any info on fork extensions? did a search and emailed EXBEN but want to know if anyone has a bike with them on. how do they work anyway? do you keep all the adjustability from the top, are they just caps? do they screw into the tube or sit over the top?
never seen a set so i got no idea

Iceman

Phill, mine just sit over the top. To give that beefy look I extended them all the way to the bottom tripple and then had some sleeves made up to run from under the bottom triple to the bottom for the fork leg. It makes the fork leg look like it's 60mm round.
