Have you read the recent Ozzy Osbourne book ?

I dont think the Aussie V8's liked going up against the Escort Cosworth,
Sierra Cosworths and Nissin Skylines etc.

New rules coming in in a year or 2 open the doors to "outsiders" v8's.
Home market cars could be up against the best of the popular German and Jap V8 series race car's.

but being under 40, healthy, with enough cash to support yourself
for a few years, no major criminal record and having a skill in demand helps.
