How close are the slaby and sling shot frames and engines .. umm what i mean is are the frames the same dimensionaly .. if i made a heap of stuff to fit around a slabby frame would i be able to put it staight onto a sling shot with no worries .. im only interested in the front part of the frame as it for a turbo set up ... ive found a complete bike for next to fuck all that would be bang on for a jig cuase i dont want to have me bike in bits ..
anyone ?

Bit of a difference Mate and the slingy is heavier but the engines interchange, cant interchange most of the Body work from one to the other either

what year switched to a 6" rear rim. I have a 5.5" rim in a 95 rear arm but i believe it calls for a 6" rim, any comment on that? Might be cause i used a different rear caliper.

didn't go 6" till the gsxr1000 came out.

but 6" was avaiable on the TL1000 earlier.

when running a 6" rim and a 190 tyre you may have issues with the chain just rubbing against the side of the tyre

750 T onwards had a 6" too.

deano, im not planning on running wider then my 180. ive already introduce some offset issues with a 180. I was just wondering if the 95 750 arm was suited for a 6", never know what project it will end up on.

doesnt matter all im interested in is the exhaust and inlet .. its a long shot be gotta try .. tits

I am sure you could get it to fit must mean checking it against spacers etc.

good luck
