I'm trying to work out a simple cruise control system. I had a serious car accident 9 years ago and since then I get real bad cramp in my right hand and shoulder(cue jokes ;)) on a long run.
Any ideas ?
How about you S/mark...didn't you have something on ya slabby at the xmas barbie ?

Have you ever seen those cramp busters?? they just clip on the throttle and you use your palm to accelerate instead of gripping the throttle.

Take a bit of getting used to but for $15 not bad, and gives you control of speed.

Them throttle locks do look like they'd come in handy though......im just a tight arse

I've tried those Foxy...trouble is I need to flex me shoulder a bit and its the letting go of the throttle at warp speed thats the trouble......

i got a NEP one that i have used on long trips and it works good. I only lock it on so i can move the shoulder and wrist around to get the feeling back in them. it`s fun seeing the looks on some car drivers faces when you pass them no hands, lol

RRP is $37.95, plus postage, less member discount, plus G.S.T, minus a couple of bucks cause the bag is open then add on the processing and accounting fee. How's $30.00 sound?

Hey Frankenfurter, The wife got 'tennis elbow' and the best thing for it is one of the strap things sports shops sell. Its an elasticated strap that you put just below the elbow. Takes the strain off the point where the muscles meet the elbow joint.
And they work !!

Try this............go nuts and ignore the pain. Adrenaline is a great (temporary) anaesthetic

Trouble is mate it's not pain, mote that it sometimes becomes a physical effort to move my fingers to the brake lever rather than just a natural movement.
