Clint and Red might be swimming to work.

Creswick is about 8 k's from my place and copped it pretty bad. No warning early in the morning. We were surrounded by water but could drive through it no problem.

Our place is OK, was pretty wet in the middle of town though. The river peaked at about 5 and a half metres. I'll stick some pics up later if I get time.

LOL... just say you were trying to outrun some chemtrails and didn't noticed the flooding because you were too busy worrying about the sun having a halo... yeah.... that'll work...

Shep flood is set to peak at lunch time tomorrow just a little under the 93 flood level but I'm in seymour left shep at 6:00 am this morning as the water was covering the high way out. Funnyest part of Sunday was taking my son down some dirt tracks to thge river in shep to show him the flooded river up close and pulling out a 4wd er with burtha the bus then going further in when he was leaving, got to love townies with there bitumen pounding 4wd's lol

I know this is from the other side of the bridge, but as you could imagine it was too wet to get the same angle.

Looks like the water will peak in shep some time tonight/tomorrow morning at a level about 1m below the 93 floods but there is more rain over thurs fri forcast for the catchments above shep seymour benalla of falls around 15 to 20 mm which will raise the water level back to the high point so far!

One of the things I love about living in the hills: aside from the great roads, if we're ever in danger of rising flood waters, somebody better be building an ark :D

I remember the night I lost my LJ torana to a river that burst its banks. Scary as hell. I feel for the people trying to save their homes.
