SM2 Phanton Headlight

Hey guys, has anyone seen the bracket that can be purchased for this headlight ? I am looking to buy the kit but they want to know my fork diameter, as the K8 GSXR1000 forks are tapered and I dont yet know where to fit the headlight I cant give them a diameter to work with !!

If the the headlight bracket fits to fork leg brackets I may be able to use my existing fork brackets - see pic.

I would have thought that there would be a way to use ur existing ones with some sort of an adaptor plate. sorta need to get the headlight 1st & then see how it'l fit...

Those AUSFR brackets are too expensive not to use.
How about you just have a go at making your own bracket ?
You have the clamps which are th eimportant bit.

Mind you, some of those brackets from Gitzy's link are pretty sweet.

Mozza matching bracket for SM Phamtom 2 is $80 US from this mob, just scroll down a bit.. A few boys on here have purchased from them I think, can't remember who, but heard they were pretty good..

Also if your feeling creative.. here is the one Banditrod made for a SM Phantom 4 for a Busa.. Tis Very similar to a Phantom 2

after fucking around getting some dimensions i made a cardboard template for the mount

then cut it out of steel (will be using alloy instead of this)

Ahhh bollocks I forgot about Supercharger Marks, he's even sporting the exact phantom.. Si to the rescue Lol.

Ps, I think that unit will top off your already awesome bike Shane, I can't wait till I have the funds to get a new unit, either Showyomoto or SM.. and get rid of my overdone dominators.. not that there bad, just overdone.. tell your mate to pull his finger out with my old B12 and come over to the madness, I miss the ol girl.. :D

Thanks for the info boy's, hey Gitzy your right. I think it will make my old shitter look a little better, bloody expensive though !!

My mate has really struggled to sell his 07 FZ1N so it looks as though he may have to sell the Bandit instead, no funds and too many bikes !!
