NFR 2010 Details / List (Updated 10 November)

Ok this year the NFR will be at Cooma again on the second weekend of November. Which this year is the 12th 13th and 14th of November.
The main body will be leaving Pheasants Nest Servo nice and early Friday morning and taking the back roads down to Cooma.
We will be staying at the Alpine Hotel again and I will update how much when I get a rough estimate of how many are coming.
For those who have to work on Friday and coming down later, I will have your rooms ready for you when you arrive later on (As per last year).
The plan is to ride there Friday have a few quiet ones Friday night, ride the Loop Saturday come back and we'll have a few light refreshing ales then the group dinner and presentations followed by a few more refreshing ales and then ride back on Sunday nice and hungover.

You will not be put on the list as attending unless you PM me guys.

G'day fellas i'm keen to go, but the handbrakes saying that her gran has an 85th birthday bash on around that time, so what is the latest notice I can give as all details are confirmed yet? Heya Matt, I'll give you as much time as needed mate, Fuck it, if someone decides on the morning of the 12th they want to come, I'll do my best to make sure they've got a bed for the week end. Of course you can invite mates to come as everyone is welcome. Usually after a week end with the lads they decide they want to join ASF afterward, just ask Muz, he was so desperate to be a member he dropped his R6 at the last NFR hoping he could then fighter it!

Just got an email from Bill regarding dinner on Saturday night, the menue is as follows:

Starters: A selection of Garlic and Herb Breads

Mains: 300gram Scotch Fillet Steak served with Chips and Salad. Seasonal Fresh Vegetables on the Table and a selection of Sauces.

Desserts: House made Tiramisu

Cost per head: $25 for dinner.

And I’ll probably throw a couple of bottles of red at you as I did last year!!

Is everyone happy with that for Saturday Night's Dinner?

Kev from VCM custom seats and a fellow ASF member has been kind enough to donate a trophy for "Best Streetfighter" at this years NFR.
The trophy will be awarded on Saturday night at the dinner with the winner being decided by vote by all who attend the NFR.
To be eligible your bike needs to fit the following categories:
Ridden at the NFR either Friday or Saturday Can not have Tupperware Must be a streetfighter
I think this an awesome gesture from Kev especially considering he can't make it this year. But when he comes next year he will be presenting the trophy himself to who ever wins Best Streetfighter at next year's NFR.

I got confirmation of room prices today. This year it will be $40 per head per night. So that is a total of $80 for the week-end.
We have an excellent relationship with the management there so they are happy for us to pay on the Friday.

If anyone has any questions feel free to contact me and I'll do my best to get the answers you want.

I'm personally really looking forward to the trip this year. Should be a good one.

NOBODY'S name will be engraved on the Trophy. Unless they engrave it on the trophy themselves after they win .

Due to several fuckups this week (mostly work comitments) it look's like the anual pilgramige to the GP at the Island for me is all messed up or at the least just a sun arvo affair. I was planning a run to Tathra for a spot of fishing next month cooma's on the way so that weekends free, Mind if a mexican crashes the party guys? The funny thing is that ive done more long distance shit on the hardly than i've done on the fighters lol.

Its nice to get to a place and not be a cripple and besides im done going fast on the road after getting my licence back after loss number 3...

OK we now have two trophies for the Nobody's Fools Run, the second one has been kindly donated by Pete (Revheadpete) this trophy will be the NFR Hard Luck Trophy , this trophy will go to whoever is voted the bloke who has the worst run on the trip with his bike eg. His bike continues to break down or is stacked etc. This trophy is open to everyone who attends the NFR not just Fighters.
Once again I reckon this is an awesome gesture from Pete and Like Kev, he has shown his true colours by supporting the NFR and ASF with his generosity. Thanks Mate
