Nearly finished the Wretched for the NFR. I've still got new Front discs to put on and thanks to Chase I've got some new mirrors. I might even give it a wash and polish.
What is everybody else riding to Cooma?

A few of us have been talking about how much we rely on SOS Motorcycle recovery and Jim's support to make the NFR Successful. So this year I am putting it out there that everyone pays a minimum of twenty dollars as a form of recovery insurance. There are at least twenty of us going so that will mean Jim will have at least $400 dollars to cover his vehicle and fuel costs. Trust me twenty bucks is fuck all compared to the stress of having you and your bike stranded at Cooma because you have stacked it or have broken down.

Yeah, been there.
Old man came down from Sydney with a hired trailer.

My problem, my solution and I didn't expect any one to chip in to get me home.

That's the spirit Dan :)
So if you are unfortunate for it to happen again, instead of using a motorcycle transporter who is at Cooma for the week end you'd rather pay for a hire trailer, and inconvenience your family to get you home?

Your choice of course, but I know I'd rather pay the twenty bucks.

Indeed count me in for the $20 being a mexican and the wrong way I'd prob sort it frm my end anyhow. But Jim has helped me out with cheap transport for bunny a $20 note is the least I can do.

Timings are pretty relaxed.

Fri 7:30am Pheasant's Nest Mobil servo
Friday arvo arrive at Cooma, sink copious amounts of booze and bed whenever.

Saturday morning, get your shit sorted when you hear the first bike fire up in the garage. 8 or 9ish from memory...
Arrive back in Cooma about 4pm, nanna nap for some, heavy drinking for others till dinner around 7, mucho alcohol till christ knows.

Sunday morning, crawl down the street looking for some breakfast and departure North mid-morning. Home (Sydney) by mid-afternoon.

Confirmed everything today with the guys at the Alpine hotel. If you are on the List you have a bed for two nights, for those who wanted single rooms.... GOOD LUCK but no promises.
For Saturday night's dinner and presentation they will have an area segregated for us so we don't upset the other diners if we get a little too rowdy and there will be around three trophies up for grabs.

OK some points

This is not a club ride by any form, this week-end is just a bunch of mates going for a ride, the ASF can not be held responsible if you lose your license, if you lose your bike, if you stack it or if you DIE As per the past NFRs When riding as a part of a group ALWAYS obey the signed speed limits and road rules There is a no Dick head rule, if you act like a fuck stain this week-end you can be assured that you will not be coming next year

I can't wait to catch up with everyone this week-end and rain or no rain we will have a ball.

It is not going to rain (trust me)
