Xbox live is awesome.. I finish work everyday at 1pm and missus don't get home till 6pm so I have plenty of boredom time to fill in.. not that I'm on everyday. But for $10 a month its a barrel of fun to race fuckers all around the world on Superbikes or like Lance said blow shit up all while chatting away to someone on the other side of the planet.. all ages, all races etc etc great fun.

Free online, NEVER had a server issue EVER and been playing for the last 2 years
my ps3 also doesn't sound like a fuckin thermo fan on a burnout car like an xbox thrixty does. and also the xbox controllers are gay and feel like a workboot with buttons on it. only good thing is halo series..

I had to stop playing bad company or GTA4 online at one point cause I would get so intense and worked up if I was having a shit night I wouldn't be able to get to sleep till about 6am - 7am.

oh and also cause I got a shitty enclosed tv unit with no airflow (ps3 was sucking hot air back in) I didn't want to risk the "please turn your playstation off it is too hot" warning. so I got a mate to rig me up some twin 100m fans that I chopped into the back of the cabinet.

you can buy those chinese USB powered fans but they do NOTHING at all.
These suckers are super quiet - have temp sensors that increase the fan speed the hotter it gets, and plug into the ps3 via usb so when you switch it on, it trips a relay and the fans run off 240v. they also glow blue like the ps3 light.. ooooohh

I got a few atari consoles, and the rip offs, even a friggin amstrad that take cassette tapes, NES, SNES, sega MS - Megadrive, psx, gameboys N64. all the old shit. hang onto it cause its selling pretty good - if you get ahold of a dreamcast hang onto that too they are worth a mint.

PS3 - shits on xbox. I can't go into details but smash the shit out of it and have it melted down for scrap and buy at least 3 of the games available for it.

either that or in something like gta4 - pick up heaps of random players in the helicopter fly about 10min out into the ocean, and quit the game, you dissapear, the helicopter falls from the sky, they all hit the water, and either have to quit the game or swim all the way back.

The bathurst Legends add on is free (Ain't I a nice guy) however you need to buy the master game for which the add on is for. The game is called rFactor and you can buy and download it from rfactor.net.

The bathurst Legends add on we made comes in 2 flavours, 1969 with the mighty 327 Monaro up against the 351 Phase 2 Falcons and 1972 flavour with the E49 Charger, GTR XU1 Torana and Phase 3 Falcons.

I run a site at www.Ausfactor.com which is the home for this mod and game in Australia. We race online in leagues every weekend. Huge fields, heaps of fun.

Glad you used the word 'simulation' cause most people think computer games are like Need for Speed or Daytona Racing. I run racing leagues in this and the competition is fierce and taken quiet seriously. Races are given as much realism as possible with a true simulation experience. We made this mod for just that
