Well I've decided to save some squid and prob after I get Kev to redo the R1 seats but before I get bike painted, to buy a fighterish Helmet, as I am a poseur :D.. Now without kicking off a big debate about compliance stickers and insurances etc etc, has anyone owned any of the following helmets which are my pick of favourites, and have anything good/bad to say about them.. Cheers..

Heres My Current Lid..

Icon Claymore.. Brilliant helmet in my opinion, but not fightery enough in the looks department..

Alien 2 looks the goods in carbon or black , I prefer the black but the carbon would be a second choice.

I like the look of the Airoh TR1.

I have a HJC ac12 Carbon if you are after a good reasonably priced carbon helmet that IS complimented.

I've been looking at some of the Icon helmets and was wondering how they go?

So Mr Gitzy How do they do? Are they Comfortable? And how does sizing compare to the Shoei?

I've got a Roof Boxer V. I reckon it looks cool as fuck, but the wind noise is shocking, even at 60kph it's loud as.

Cheers for the feedback lads..

I think I may save my pennies till next year then , Scotty N Rod seem to know something... hmmm

Stu - My icon is sensational, sizing i think is almost identical to Shoei by memory, noise is pretty minimal, overall excellent helmet, quality is great no complaints here..

Q : are those airoh TR1s complianced here ? used to have an airoh a couple of years ago nott bad lid but the convertable lids will allways be noisey its a trade off for convenieance

i see what you mean, icon helmets are sooo three months ago LOL

i'd avoid anything with a flip up chin, mainly cos i once bent the chinpiece of a helmet on the side of a car [XX(]
