Ive said it once and I'll say it again we need to organise a road goin hill climb like this in Aus

Yeah the climb up Thunderbolt's Way on the Fool's run was a farkin blast, one of the best stretches on the whole ride.[:p]

Are these English hill climbs just one bike at a time, or do you get to crowd the rear end of the guy in front[}:)]

It's a time trial, but I guess you already knew that. Different clsses of bikes see who can get to the top the fastest, and trust me, they don't fuck about. The last time I went to one in the UK (prescott) there were a lot of ambulance runs, and the track runs through a wooded area. I think one poor bugger died the year I left!

No chance, Im too Old Too fat and Too carefull to be any good at this lark. I did get second fastest speed through the speed trap at the bottom of the hill:D96mph the fastest was 97!! Bugger
To do really well you need a really fast supermoto. My best time was 39.5 seconds the best time was 34.7 I think..
To put it into perspective the really fast racing cars ( V10 jordan ex F1 egines, 700hp in hand made chassies) do 24 seconds with speed trap times over 140MPH [:0][:0]Thats impressive to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on the way to bris at cooperabung there is a sign at a turnoff which says cooperabung hillclimb. next time past on the bike i will take it and have a look see. the side car could be good.

The Sunshine Coast Council are pretty cool with things like this, Its costs abit to get licences and stuff But i'm sure We could organise something in the future.
