Shorty cans

Hi guy's iv been looking at hundreds of site's for shorty exhaust can's,problem is every thing i like is for 600/750cc blike's...the can is to suit a bandit 12 motor a reducer pipe to connect to the header's is not a drama but what effect would it have on the performance would it have ? two brothers produce a can that by eye seem's to have a large enough out-let for the 1200,akroprovic make one thats more suitable in price and the build but seem's to have a smaller out-let,these can's are U S based site's.is there anything in oz that would suit that doesent come with the high price's that seem to be attached to australian sales http://www.asfphotos.com/upload/1281581371.jpg

Given some 600s are revving to 17k they're going to be pumping the same amount of air as a 1200 at 8.5k. How much of a diameter difference are you seeing between the 600 cans and the 1200 ones? An open can of smaller diameter is still going to pump a shit-load more gas than a restricted can with a larger bore

That's what i did and it tuned up fine on the dyno at the Performance centre in Nerang with a bit of rejetting.

cool...but the problem i have is that i want to put a kevlar can on to match the tail and front guard,iv got three can's in the shed i could use but there not the look im after, so i'll look till i find wat i think will be best on the build,but thank's for the helpful comment's

You could scout for some kevlar tube and go from there try askin sharky he has looked for the tubing and I believe he has some success.
