We've decided to ditch the underseat exhuast in preperation for a turbo.

This lead to all sorts of discussion about tails and subframes etc.

The latest idea is to adapt this CBR1000 tail.

The aim is to slim down the tail but retain the pillion option etc.

The entire K1/2 Tail and exhuast is now for sale if anyones interested...

Comments? - yea, Stocky, stop being gay, put the scales away and come down to the AFR with Tony.

As for the tail - shit loads better, but would like to see it with the entire bike to back up that statement.

Sorry this is the best I can do for the whole bike just now.

It's litterally only been here for a few hrs so it's a very young project.

I'm still working out the seat. Looking like a custom covered hybrid of the CBR and the GSXR seats at this stage.

Will use the normal CBR pillion pegs.

The battery box will change so it doesn't hang down.

I'll try to do some pics etc along the way.

;)

i hate to say it but i kinda like the stocker better. the way the stock one goes to the tank and is thicker makes the bike seem shorter and beefy. the honda tail looks good but i think it seems too long since its so thin. Dont know, maybe its just the angle. How do you like it?

Fuck yea! I like it a lot. Look at the gap it's opened up and it looks a lot more freaky. Top work boys.

ps- those plate arent going to want to rotate down like a 4-bar linkage are they?? just wondering

I don't think so... The bolt pattern means as it trys to move down it lengthens the distance between them...? so it shouldn't. There is a cover to mod and cover the plates so if it moves at all I'll weld the two together with another plate in behind and you won't see any of it ;)

got any vid footage of that rolling burner in your signature Tony? or is that Wannabefast showing you how its done?

As KRASH kinda mentioned there are side plates to go on yet, once the seat is sorted and the side plates are on it'll look a bit more solid and blend a little better around the tank/seat area.

The tail is pointy and long. Won't look quite so pointy once it's got an undetail, tail light and numberplate etc but still pointy.

For some reason it looks really long in the photo's, it doesn't quite look that long in real life.

Thanks for the comments guys. Even the negative ones are appreciated.
