You can buy brand new exhausts for them again, from kawasaki about $3,500 per side.

My brothers got 2 or 3 Z900/1000. Still got the one he bought in 1978. I could never work out where Kawasaki put the hinge in the frame. I didnt own one but had a Z1300 for 5 years, great bike. "Stone", awesome movie.
