Well if it is the bike builders that I think you are talking about it is because they do a fuckload for this forum and the members in it what is your problem with people doing this anyway? If people do a good job and they help us out we do what we can to help them.

as someone who has been worked from having brake hoses fail i would definelty reccomend going new and using the HEL lines

not a fan of screw type fittings at all for brake lines,- my 2c

The 3 piece fittings aren't legal here and in the UK they banned the coloured aluminium fittings due to corrosion issues that could cause leaks.

I'm unsure what you are implying Pete, but the guys on here are not 'advertising' for Bike Builders they are 'recomending' follow members who give exceptional service and who also support this forum and yes they also happen to be profesional bike builders. Ben (exben) has helped me out so many times It would be embarrasing to individually list everything he has done or how many times he has freely given me his advice regarding my ZX9R.
Back on subject: Another advantage of buying Hel Braided lines from Extreme Creations or Bike Craft just to name two, with that purchase you will get after sales service and if needed also a Warranty.

Those Goodridge ones that JOHN STAMNAS has donated for this month's Full member competition look pretty good also. Actually

Earls are down the road from me and they are top notch. They make me anything up I need, good bunch of guys.

Got Earls braided on all my bikes.

For what braided lines cost, its still by far the best way of giving you some proper braking power ! and bags off feel at the lever.
