took one for a spin today.... its was a 650

bad plastics... very average ride.. wooden suspension.... suspect gearbox, soft brakes...... id give hyosung 5 to 10 years to straighten out their production values... kind of like early korean cars that you wouldnt touch with a 10 foot pole.

Just like early Japanese bikes then...

Another 5 or 10 years and Korean & Chinese bikes will play a large part in the motorcycle industry! ;)

they play a large part now but it is all bad.

I keep hearing that "give em 5 years and they will be good" shit but the truth to the matter is they have already had more than 5 years now and they are still worse than fucked.

If you get a chance, read the exclusions for warranty in the owners book. "damaged to paint by birdshit". Surely this is not translated by the same bloke taking the phonecalls from around Australia telling them thier product is shit.

RING RING

"HURRO?[8)]"

"Mate, all ya bikes are fucked:("

"OHH, SANK YOU VELLY MUCH, WE SEND ROTS AND ROTS SAME SING STLAIGHT AWAY MISSTA LOUND EYE:D"

mind u dave when they came over in the 60s and 70s they didnt have much competition from the likes of triumph or norton but that was probably down to lack of good managment like the british car industry[RIP]
japanese manufacturing philosiphy is to do endless market reaserch find out what the punter wants to buy and build it ..whereas western philosphy is ..we ve built it now we ll make u want it
triumph sold heaps of bikes in the 70 s on the back of national pride how else can u explain this ... take 4 750s from say 1977 triumph T140 40 year old design top speed around 105mph handled well
suzuki gs 750 new design 120MPh handled adequately
Honda cb750 bout the same specs same price wise
yamaha xs 750[xx(] well theres always a wild card :D
