Firstly Gibbo, it is not a glue bottle. It's a flavouring bottle from a snow cone maker, (thought this was fairly obvious), and as for the subframe thing, it'll be cable ties and duct tape all the way. lol

Tone, get yourself a lettuce crisper ASAP, (remember to remove the pointy bit from the middle). Once fitted, feel free to let the kids dive head first into whatever they please without the risk of major injury.*

The KBC is about 8 months old.Love it.The Simpson I've had for about 7 years.Last January it saved my head after a 160kph tank slapper. (me thinks me needs a steering dampner)
Was more worried about the Simpson than the shagged shoulder,ankle and a few grazes.[V] Bike was fixed in 1 week took me 6 months to get back to normal;)

Hey Kev ever concidered selling your VR1 ???????? hehe Actually Boys When i bought my VR2 there was the KBC/ARAI QLD Rep dealer in the store at the time ,deilvering his stock on a weekend! to keep up with demands. He told me flat out that the demand to bring out the VR2 in the ORIGINAL Assault scheme was huge and WILL be comming out soon, But Maybe more realistically on the VR3. SWEEET!

Due to the huge demand created here in Europe, the helmets are not available in Australia just yet. We have appointed a distributor who are going to test for the Australian Standard Ansi 1698. Once we have this we will be able to introduce the helmets into the market.

Until the helmets comply with the Australian Standards they can not be shipped into the country.

They retail for around 400 Euros in Europe, but due to local taxes etc, we do not know the exact cost in AU dollars yet.

Just a warning for those guys buying matt finish lids. I got home from a ride and noticed all the top paint was stuffed, i dont know what got on it but once its on the matt finish there is no way of getting it off.
P.S. This lid is for sale, my new lid turns up from the USofA next week.

Fighter lid is the black one, dunno if youve heard of it but its called a Diamondback. Simpson make them. The one is an Arai rx7rr4 ,best lid ive ever used at speed. Its a haga rep.

OK time for the really hard questions

How do you see out the visor if it's got a graphic on it?
I'm making up a helmet/headlight unit at the moment, and want to know if I can paint the whole thing, or if I have to leave unpainted holes for the headlights to shine through?

The lights aren't the brightest to start with (no comment necessary Turbo/Davo/Oz, in fact the fuggin lot of ya [}:)]) so I don't want something which will reduce their effectiveness.

You get sticky backed vinyl from your local sign shop. It's the shit they use on bus windows. You can see out but you can't see in. It's so sheer the light will shine through it without a problem. The heat may be a consideration though, so see what they say.

Cool, I'll chase some up. Got an arc welder coming tomorrow[:p], so I'm gonne bend/cut up the bracketry for the headlight tonight. I've already bent/cut up a new bracket for the radiator&cooler, which disappears behnd the radiator, unlike the big lump of a thing that's on there now:(. Pick up replacement motor tomorrow hopefully, and should have everythig finished by Monday. (yeah I know I'm "dreaming" on that one, but isn't that where we all start, with a dream of what might be[8)]) (I'm just going to go kill myself before I turn into a complete Hippy fag after that comment[V])

Unfortunately the local plod don't have the bottle to follow me when I'm goin' hard, so I might have to meet up with Damo, or the like, in order to give the new motor and front-end set-up a good test :D
