ONLY ON BIKE FOR 700KMS. THIS MUFFLER IS WORTH $700 TO BYE NEW.

HAD TINY CRACK NEAR MOUNT WHICH HAS BEEN WELDED UP AND RE-PAINTED, WHICH YOU CAN HARDLY TELL.

I GOT A NEW MUFFLER UNDER WARRINTY SO I AM SELLING THIS ONE.

THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS MUFFLER, SO HAPPY BIDDING!

So winning bid $137
Postage $13

So Heres what i got... a 5.5inch tear with weld and sprayed over..
You reckon I was right in asking for refund or you reckon I'm a bit of a whinger after receiving the item and comparing to ebay listed pic, I think the ebay one may be a bit edited.. or is it just me.. even bad lighting would pick this up..

It should have read "You can hardly tell from the pic I've included".
I wouldn't be happy with that, coulda got one of itzmatty's pipe for not much more.
You'll only notice half that weld when she's mounted, but still, not the point. I'd personally go after the refund...

I very nearly bid on that , could be cleaned up better , but i agree its not as p[ictured or advertised

Good luck,

I just had a refund, the first in 4 disputed transactions over the years, fuel pumps advertised as 150 l/hr at 5 bar couldn't do 150 l/hr at 3 bar , but it did help that the seller was very good about it and refunded as soon as the items were returned , i would buy from him again without hesitation .. wish all business was done as professionally .

If you put that pic in to photoshop you can see where it's been altered.

I do believe you're right sir! Looks as though someones used the 'clone stamp tool', especially the way that portions of the reflective glare don't match up. Dodgy fuck.

that's not the same zorst in the picture. Go thru the 'not as described' via ebay/paypal with pictures to prove your claim. You'll get a refund. Like how it's listed 'bye' ... muppet

Sshhh! My master plan will be exposed![:0]

So how long does it take for refunds to be sorted out thru paypal? There's been a few items I should of requested refunds for but just couldn't be farked. But I'm talking $10/$20 items....

refunds through paypal about 24hours

sharky

Ya wrong Pete...unless the seller agrees to your complaint there's a whole slow process...
Complaint escalated to claim..then investigated and then if they agree with you you get a refund...normally they insist you return item at your expense,in which case get the whole signed for/proof of sending thing.

Missus already left bad feedback lads, which prompted some colourfull language from the seller.. Haven't heard from paypal since yesterday, so not sure how its going... After looking at the crack very closely, If no refund is achieved, I reckon I could clean it up heaps better and smoother and hit it again with some paint.. But if I choose to go a different zorst, (Which I most likely will) I'll def let you know Fimpy..

As you filed the complaint you have the power to escalate it...and copy and paste the sellers rant into the wording...

Gitzy
22-07-2010, 04:30 AM
Yup yup, had missus help me with it last night.. she's the ebay wiz of the household.. Uploaded photos and rant etc. I tell ya what they take there time to do anything..

You shoulda waited to leave the bad feedback. That way the seller thinks he might gain something and is more likely to help you. Although with only 3 feedbacks he could just create a new account.

I did a paypal dispute thing yesterday (item not received) and got my money back about 4 hours later. Cunt still reckons he sent it, but can't supply tracking/registered numbers

Gitzy
22-07-2010, 10:19 AM
Agree Rich, shoulda waited, the missus did it while I was at work, I thought it may agravate the seller and I was right.. Bloody women, apparently you can't throw rocks at them :D

I dunno, if i was buying i would ask for a close up of the damage. Half the time damage is way worse than described and half the time its hardly anything. I know it cuts you out of alot of stuff (because these type of sellers know no one will buy the stuff when they see the damage) but saves shit like this happening.

Anyway, item definitely not as described, photo looks edited too. It got me when it said
"THIS MUFFLER IS WORTH $700 TO BYE NEW"
And "WARRINTY"
Plus the capitals....

RevHead

go back into feedback and you can reply to his feed back and add that the item was fucked and to beware of this ebayer,,i read peoples feedback that bid on my shit.and if there dodgee fuckers i cancel there bids cheers
