View Full Version : Digital Video Camera anyone?

I was thinking of doing a DVD of the Fools Run and hiring a decent camera, but I thought I might ask if anyone had a decent digital video camera on here? I guess the next thing would be someone to use it as well and if anyone has access to any good editing and DVD creation software? I used to be assitant director on some TV shows back in England so I can give advice to any volunteers. Let me know.

I will have a cam on the tank for the ride out to Dubbo as well. So there should be some footage of the event floating around.

This is my setup with my old dials. The quality is good until it gets uploaded and chopped up to save space.

OK. Just want to add to this. Is anyone interested in doing some video work from each group? Like, one of the guys down in VIC getting to the meeting point and filming the bikes turning up and saying hello and then random stuff over the next few days rides? If I could get someone from every area that's headed to the AFR I could try and weld it together and make some kind of video for all those that never made it and also for everyone to remember the weekend by. Does anyone own a digital video camera or have access to one? How about the QLD guys, who can do our rides? I'll do some research also and is there any volunteers for filming when we get down there? Boh?

i got adobe premiere pro software and the crack for it, its pretty darn good.

I don't have a camera, but the hard part is we'll need 3, one for the Wed group, one for the Thur group and one for the Fri group [xx(][V]

I can video on my Digi its not too bad(5.1 mp)I can film up something for you on the way there. I dont mind taping over the weekend if someone has a proper Camera too.

i'll have tank cam rigged up, tho its nothing special at all, its 3.2MP digital video camera.

i also have a actual VIDEO recorder which is old, bulky and i dont care of i loose, i can strap to the tank cam mount, that way you can get some raw footage, upload to the computer, and you can chop and change shit till your hearts content.

either way i will have a camera on the bike.

Hey Mofo, i'll mount the camera backwards so i can get some footage of you tryin to keep up. LOL.
But on a more serious note,if anyone wants to wear helmut cam just let me know coz i aint got room in my swag for the camera.

davo, i'll find out whats going on with, how we are getting all our gear there. if my stuff is in a support car, i'll take a small backpack and the helmet cam gear stuff.

i have a good tank cam mount on the sv. all i need is a decent DV cam, so if someone is game enough to lend a cam, i'll use that too.

oh and davo, all that cam on the back of your bike will get is a pair of projector lights up your arse, cos you'll be holding me up [:P] lmao
