Had a few phone calls today asking what the plan is for the NFR.
This year it is going to be on the weekend of the 12th, 13th and 14th of November.

A few guys are keen to go somewhere else this year, and others I have talked to are dead keen to go back to Cooma.

What is the general consensus?
Who's coming this year?
Who is keen to go to Cooma, and who wants to go somewhere else?

I for one am still keen for Cooma.

Ok I'm going to organise the NFR (NSW) for Cooma.
Maybe a bilateral event held the same week-end in Victoria could be a go also.

Drive your van down to Sydney Pete, then ride the rest of the way.
The trip to Cooma is a good one especially if Russ is leading us again.
We take the Back roads more or less from Goulburn all the way to Cooma it's a good warm up ride for the next day.
We'll be staying at the Alpine Hotel. A bit further down the track I'll have more details, but like Dan said check out the old threads on the previous NFRs basically we stick to the same formula, it is honestly one of my favourite weekends.

Yeah, we head down on Friday morning (arse crack of dawn for some reason).
Last year I rode down after work on Friday arvo and made it in time for the evenings festivities.

Money is tight here too at the moment but as Pete said, tuck a couple of bucks away each pay and we should be good to go.

All details will come out closer to the date. But basically the weekend goes like this:

Yep we leave nice and early on Friday and take the back roads to Cooma, the Guys who can't get off work usually high tail it down the Highway in the afternoon.

The Next Day (Saturday) we have a decent ride organised, it is self passed with regular stops. When we get back later that afternoon, some go to the chemist and get their hemorrhoids check out while the rest of us have a few sherbets. I'll have a dinner organised that night and maybe some presentations.

Sunday everyone nurses their hangovers back home.
