Had the crow outline done at a rally 2 years ago but wanted my mate to do the rest. Sat for 4 hours on Wednesday and he freehanded this. Gave him a few ideas of what I wanted and told him to use his imagination... the crow/tree still needs to be filled and the bottom of the tree needs adding. It's the horned god btw or cerneunous (can't spell) incase you're wondering. Best thing was I got to talk about dodgy stories from the past with my good mate whilst he worked his magic.

nice stuff, I'm still almost 3 years without my tribute tats. I got the picture in my head but I'm artisticly retarded and have no way of penning my ideas, got a mate who is right into dark fantasy art, and will be drawing me up a few ideas for free when he's not busy (my inspiration being the early science fiction/horror collage that wallpapered a van my old man borrowed years ago.) I spent hours just sitting in that thing staring at the artwork. having a hard time tracking down that specific style of art.

You need to look into Clint Langley's stuff or some of the other 2000ad stuff. www.clintlangley.com got a few of his ltd edition prints and he's a really nice bloke to boot. He does loads of WoW and Warhammer stuff too... if you like that pic above, then get the artist to do that. If they can't do it, they aren't worth going to =o)

Never been much into tatts,didn`t see the point unless it really means something personal,then i came across this Maori lad that i work with that used to be in the mongrel mob in the land of the long white cloud that has tribal tatts all over his face with not a bare bit of skin untouched. All done in the traditional way of a mallet and a sharp piece of bone as the needle. Every time i look at him i laugh to myself and think "fuck that must of hurt"

Would love some of that Maori stuff... and yep, I've heard it hurts like a mofo! I've got a blue swirly-celtic type of sleeve planned next... but got to finish this one off first. Next sitting is in 2 weeks.

That octopus one isn't bad. Good lines, great colour, not a design I would have gone for but I've seen some really shit one - examples below. This prick tattooed my sister, thankfully it was only a small heart with 2 initials - which he fucked up royally... but at least we haven't got this on us:

Ok, as I now appear to have a small fanclub, I'll indulge you with this picture. Taken at a rally 2 years ago... after I had just done 2 yards of ale (won 2 rounds but lost to a patch bloke) and had the crow outline tatt - sitting on an Exile trike.

Go and see the crew at Sacred Skin at Greenslopes mate. Sit down talk to them explain what you want and they'll show you books to give them an idea and pen it for you. You can also then alter it once it's drawn. After all it's your kin it's going on. They will help you no end in getting what you want...
