^^^^Too right. This is the sort of technology that will make riding safer, not some fuckwits spending millions of our hard earned tax dollars on studies to keep us safe with shit like front number plates or to decide we are 38 times more likely to have an accident and then blame us for driving up the road toll.

They've had this technology for cars for 30 years but it never caught on. I think there are issues with oncoming traffic that could potentialy be a problem.

It will have the added side effect of not blinding oncoming drivers as you corner too.

When riding to work daily at 4:30 in the morning, I notice my headlights often darken the road (where I want to go) but also have a "high beam" effect for cars coming the other way. The last thing a rider needs is a blinded driver coming at them.

Won't that depend on wether or not you're going around a left or a right hand corner?

Smart arse. I meant - that if you are going around a left hand bend it won't bother oncoming traffic but around a right hander it probably will.

That's why I said [u]a</u> left hand or [u]a</u> right hand and not a left or right hand corner. See the difference?
