Opinions or suggestions for my future paint would be excellent guys and gals. I'm a plain kinda bloke so a solid colour will make me happy..

Gloss black for the bits but you'll need to black out the frame and swingarm for maximum effect!! Satin or matt for the frame thanks..

Vtr is a little broken at the moment, I went into the barbed wire fence, it didn't...

Yeah I bought a CZR pipe of Ebay, way back.. had it on for a few days then took it off.. I didnt rate it. Stock pipe sounded heaps better.. Have you checked out the build before??

At the very least,black out the wheels if you don't want to pull the whole bike down.

The one thing I can't work out on photoshop is how to do that colour overlay thing & still keep the shading correct etc. what tool do you use & what's the trick?

After I isolate all the parts I want to change colour.. and merge there layers together.. so I have the background original AND the layer of tank/seat/fender all in one. I click blending options on tank/seat/fender layer and choose colour overlay.. pick my colour and it will come up solid, but if you change opacity from 100% and lower it to where you want it, all the shadows and shading start to come through, when you have it where you want it then you just move your colour gadget around to what colour you want.. alternate between colour and opacity to get the combo you want.. make sense?? im not best teacher..

I do it a bit differently, I use the magic wand to select all the bits that i want to change, then go to the image toolbar, adjustments then colour balance. This lets you change the colours a lot quicker and easier. No need to stuff around with layers etc then.

poison ivy is a hot colour, also the burnt orange in the VE SS looks nice too...

If your just after solid colours go to a car paint shop and flick through the paint book... there are some awesome colours to choose from, might even find yourself a colour you didn't know existed... Or you can wander around a car yard and have a look at the colours...

I like the angled speed blocks. Quite trick. That R1 that mishdog put up we sold through work. It was a great orange and top quality work, but so fucking ugly in the flesh, even worse than the pics. Gotta go, just vomited in my mouth thinking about it.
