its a nice engine swap, one i would consider if a cheap 1400 turned up
but i have to wonder what it does for the character of the bike...
i dont like what he has done to the bars
yes, the standard riding position hurts but you do get used to it after a while

That's not an engine swap Conrad.

Thats a bodywork retro fit is it not?? very well done too I think.. you still got your 14's Large? maybe a combo with your Kat.. that would be a cool project.

My opinions poo.. In my obsession with Katanas, other than my old mans 750 pop up, I've never ever seen one in the flesh.. :(
The japs have been producing them in limited numbers for a few years now.

Oh my. I did a little wee when I saw this. Think I'll part out the husband's organs on the black market so I can afford to buy one & drool over it. Anyone need a kidney?

That is fuckin hot! an awesome combination of the two bikes!, the only thing i can pic, is for some reason the Katana front end only looks good with clip-ons, for some reason it just doesn't suit bars. Love the color/paint scheme though!!

I am in love!
Although, I reckon with all the effort he's put in, he could've pulled the warning stickers off the swingarm...

COuld have put some effort into changing the cooler so he didn't have to cut the plastics - much like the turbo one has... The cooler cutouts and the 2 piece side covers make the first one look like a bodge job compared to the turbo'd one's single piece sides and non chopped plastics - having said that, the turbo one is probably using one of the jap made conversion kits.
