Hi everyone. Been lurking around this forum for a while and thought it was about time I joined up. Riding a KTM 690SM at the moment and its great for the tight twisty stuff but thinking of building a streetfighter for some longer rides again.

Thanks guys. I found the helmet on the Sunshine Coast cheaper than what they were selling them in the US. My brother bought one too. Have to take some new photos of the Tard as its got a tail tidy and some more bits now. Had mostly large capacity nakeds and sports bikes for the last 35+ years. Sold my ZX10 last year and grabbed the KTM (for going fast through the tight twisty stuff).

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. Now I need to decide what to buy. British or Jap, new or second hand or maybe a wreck from the auctions. I know my way around the workshop and can do most of the wrenchin but leave paint to the experts. Where's the best place for bits like head lights and other streetfighter gear.

Thanks Gix11. Ive been busy checking out the Streetfighter sites on the internet. Got a lot of ideas unfortunately some of it isn't legal in Qld (but what is). I should be able to put something together, maybe buy one part built and finish it off how I like it.
