Man`s total reliance on electrickery has always been a global catastrophe waiting in the wings.

“We know it is coming but we don’t know how bad it is going to be,” Dr Richard Fisher, the director of Nasa's Heliophysics division, told The Daily Telegraph in an interview.

“It will disrupt communication devices such as satellites and car navigations, air travel, the banking system, our computers, everything that is electronic. It will cause major problems for the world.

“Large areas will be without electricity power and to repair that damage will be hard as that takes time.”

I`ve been watching the earths magnetosphere for a while via the net and its fucked.

When the magnetosphere goes "sideways" almost every day now, it lets in massive radiation from the sun and anywhere else. Hence so many power outages, problems with satellite coms and computer networks.

The sun is kicking up in activity yes.

The magnetoshere is being smacked off track almost daily now.

The real reason for the uptick in solar activity and the reason for our magnetosphere being pushed around is what I am interested in.
