how wide are the tie down points from centre of tyre ? Looks about 350 ish ?. I put 400mm on mine, and it wasnt enough to keep the centre bike really stable. Keep a eye on that bit and what kinda clearance between trailer tyre and guard ? Dropped 3 roadies on mine and it would touch the tyre every now and then on bumps. Making another one now and not making the same mistakes again... Apart from that , nice jigga nigga . Where the ramp and how does it attach ?

hey doctor if you tie down the bikes the same as i do (from the axle not the bars)then it will be fine and the gaurds have about 80mm clearance (wd40 lid plus a little bit more) this is the same as my old trailer and i never had any issues ...and as for the ramp kev was thinking of getting one of the alloy jobs from repco ($99 bucks when on special) and the best part is its well within requirements to avoid rego .....

good stuff rod. Was lookin at them ride in and lock units for my next one. Ask Kev about the drive behind me to AFR last year. Pretty scary to watch my bike in the middle. I too used a wd 40 lid as clearance. I should have used the little bit more rule as u did. Oh well. Live n Learn hey. I know them ramps, they look the shit. Hide it underneath ? . Is that really less than 3 metres long ??

a little postie once told me that you used wd40 lid for cleance but your tyre scrubbed hence the little bit extra ....and yep it comes in at 2965mm from tip to tail mate

Very noice Rod! How does it avoid rego? Do u mexicans get away with that shit dwn there? 90% sure all trailers need to be rego'd in NSW :( I should really move south...

Basicly if its under car length and width , and isn't a caravan or boat trailer single axle is doesn't need rego just lights. If it blocks the view of your cars number plate it needs something to show the cars plate number.

dont stress trailer rego is about 50 bucks, need a compliance plate ya can buy from a trailer parts place and keep it under 3 metres long, the car width is a bit of a balls up coz if ya lend it to a mate with a laser he will get done for unregistered. Toss it behing a cruiser and ur sweet. I would rather move to queensland and pay for my trailers rego.
