Bidding on one on Ebay, but probably should have asked this question first! Anybody done this swap? Is it straightforward, or require a lot of fabricating? I think I have only seen the later ones (1995 etc) fitted to GSXRs.

Thanks.

My sssa is a 2002 i think and was a far bit of fab and machining to fit

Should be ALMOST a straight swap. I think oil cooled frame is around 240mm wide, actually that's on a 750 frame 1100 maybe different.

Forgot to say mine is a 800 sssa, the 750 is skinnier than the 800.
Have a read of this, its an easy mod with just a couple of spacers.

Thanks for the info guys. I got held up at work and didn't get home in time to put another bid on. It went for $205 including post and the guy was going to include the shock and linkages. He also had a wheel for sale as well. Very pissed off would be an understatement!

Eyes are out for the next one I suppose.

Yep, but I've got a GSXR, not a 'blade.
