Fighter it or not? Considering the present company its proberly a stupid question. If it is fightered do i go for the radical German look or a more conservative R1 style tail look?

Hi Arbee,

The black one was mine very briefly (for less than 5 days) but it's headin north to live with Oz.

The red one is not - it was featured in streetfighters a couple of months back.

Im actually thinking about using one of these. I love the classic GSXR with Ducati tail. Keep the raw carbon look tail and carbon wrap the tank, if i can actually buy some bloody CF.

I reckon you should powdercoat the frame black, stick the CF
DUCtail:D on, lower the front with some USD's, and maybe jack the back up with some adjustable dogbones on a banana swinger to put a bit of curve into the looks of the rather angular ol' slabby.
What ever you do, I think the rear of the bike should be at the same level as the top of the tank, otherwise they look like they're dragging their arse, like a dog with worms, [:0]or somethin..[8D]

she's an "emperor" tail from megatec
not the traditional "german" up in the air style

but also different enough not to be just another R1 tail

think it would definitely suit a slabbie!!!

and mundy, gimme a aluminium trellis frame any day
yum yum [:p]

That looks pretty good fimp, you got a pic of your destroyer tail? Also you got a link from where you got it from, i wouldnt mind something a bit different.

08-02-2007, 03:39 PM
RGVM or GSX-R/RK;) full stop.

08-02-2007, 05:49 PM
I'd keep the front fairing and paint an just change the subframe and tail for a modern look.
