Interchangable GSXR parts? and axle diameter?

Hi all,

I have a couple of questions that I am hoping some of you can answer:

1) I am chasing the front axle diameter of the GSXR 600 2008 / 2009?

Also if anyone knows if this axle is interchangable with the 600 750 1000 of other years? (05? 06? 07?)

2) What other top triple clamps are interchangable with the 08/09 600 lower triple tree/clamp and fork tubes? (600 750 1000 of other years 05? 06? 07?)

3) What other front fenders are interchangable with the 08/09 600 (600 750 1000 of other years 05? 06? 07?)

Any help with this is greatly appreciated

Hi all, bit of an update - ended up putting the project on hold - but getting back on track now. Ended up with 2011 GSXR600/750 front end - so am chasing a front fender for that (2011/12).

does anyone know if the earlier front fenders will line up with these?

In partial reply to my original post - and to help those others out there - the front diameter of the 2008/2009 GSXR 600 was 25mm, in case anyone wants to know - the front axle diameter of a D600 is 20mm, and the front axle diamter of the 2011/12 GSXR 600 is 22mm.

So I bit the bullet and bought a GSXR 600 2007 front fender/mudguard from gumtree - a bit scratched up but should come up ok with a clean and a polish, and I may end up repainting it a different colour anyway. Test fitted to the GSXR 600/750 2011 forks and it physically fits fine, and four out of the six mounting bolts line up perfectly - I just need to make a very small bracket to get the lower two to line up. Will post pics once I have done that.
