I remember a guy wrote in to performance streetbike mag a few years ago about how he'd raised the suspension and put some knobbies on his gsxr1100, and done Cape york. Was a great read.

love to see that land a 100 footer.

There was some bloke over in NZ that made something similar for oval racing on the sand beside a beach was nuts air shifter the lot.
