OK lads as requested here are some pics of my '96 bandit 1200.Compared to some of the bikes you crazy kids have built mine is pretty mild...but just so y'all aware of my dastardly intentions, future mods will include : windowed covers on anything and everything possible (the voyeur in me likes to see things movin' about), 1216 kit, add a tooth or two to the rear sprocket,'06 R6 tail, gold anodized rearsets, shorty can, anodized levers and engine bolt kit etc respray with a 'steam punk' vibe, braided lines and hoses all over, crankcase breather kit, braided cam link with gold ano fittings, polish and brace swingarm, new gold chain,K&N filter pods and some sexier brake n clutch reservoirs.Hard to say when all these mods will occurr-i've been playin' around with her since the start of this century and will continue to do so forever methinks.Once again thanks to all for the warm welcome! img]

Nice looking Bandit mate, are you going to keep the headlight black?

Hi rod and thanks mate-dunno 'bout the light just yet, optically it doesn't quite gel with the rest of the orange and white scheme but i think i'll probably leave it as is for now and unify it all when i decide on the steampunk colour changes. For those not familiar with the steampunk aesthetic it has a lot of brass, copper polished metal etc dig around on youtube and you'll get an idea of what i'm talking about.

Hi Robmac-yeah no argument there mate the faux carbon fibre is about as sexy as Marty Feldman! I do have a new orange acerbis in the side by side configuration sitting in one of my parts boxes in the garage but i'm sort of over that look now if you know what i mean. The one that's on it now was always just a temp. fix to keep the ol'girl legal after some pissed twits decided to souvenir the one that was previously on it outside a nightclub in the city.

Thanks dude , was your 'stang a fastback also? Mine goes like shot cat and revs like a bloody bike and i must admit i love it.saved since i was sixteen to get it (i'm 38 now) and have had it for about 4years.The bandit is just as much if not more fun (i have the fine receipts and suspension notices to prove it!)and the humvee is great for climbing walls and touch parking lol
