View Full Version : How to Paint Clutch/Brake master cylinders???

Hi Guys
i Got some brembro clutch and brake master cylinders yo go on my RZ fighter project.
It looks like there Annoed gold
i want them satin black ,, dont want the hassel of stripping masking than re annoing
whats the best way to paint them
whats the best paint to use around brake fluid (VHT engine paint???) just something that has a little resistence to the fluid.
any info would be much appreciated

mate give them a rub with scotch brite pad then wash with thiners dry then give them a couple of coats of etch primer ,,,now go and buy some 2 pak black and get some hardner n thinners,,the thing is 2 pak is brake fluid resistant,give em 2 coats of colour and let em dry for a couple of days cheers

cool ill have to give it to a spray painter i guess
dont have a spray gun or skills to use one lol
