Can anyone post a picture of an R1 98/99/00/01 that has been fightered. Both sides would be good. Im just wondering what they look like undressed and where coolant bottles and stuff like that are and where they are put when they are hidden.

Oh yeah its not for me, a mate has a 99/R1 and i think ive finally talked him into fightering it. He just wanted to see what the look like with no plastic and mx bars. He will be keeping the standard 99 tail.

There's a guy on the weekend riders forum who has a very tidy R1 fighter. I usually catch him every friday night - will see if I can dig up so picks for you before or take a photo kat.

They do look very trick tho...

Yeah thats lucky(luckstriker) from the weekend riders forum.

His since put a new exhaust on - basically just terminates at the collectors with a baffled hot dog. Not as loud as you'd think.

Shit I might have to finally make a trip home, it's only been 20 odd years :D

Actually thinking of taking my daughter over there next Xmas, if any kiwis are interested in catching up. Well if there are any kiwis I haven't pissed off yet :D

Yep, that's Slamdog's bike. Check it in your ride, or if you're a member, in the members ride area. He's from NZ.
