Ok here goes. bikes been sitting here and sitting here..
I cant register it, because its still registered to my old man, he wont give me rego papers
because of family argument.. haven't seen or heard from him in 2 years. I cant bring myself to forge a little piece of paper and re register it, so I'll see if anyone on here is interested, don't particularly want to pull it apart but may have to.. If you want the whole bike and you want to register it i cant see why you couldnt.. I've registered things before with just a receipt because of lost papers, unless rules have changed.. not sure.
Anyway enough jibber here are the facts no BS..
*96 model MK1 1200 Bandit..
*Genuine 39000kms
*Had bike since 1999 Always in old mans name, brief 6 month stint in mates hands then we bought it back.
*New gear box in 2005ish cost me $2300 had receipts but old man has them.. (not fussed if you believe me)
*Bike has had crash, 1st we bought it as repairable in 99 then me in 2006
*Everything straight as far as i know..
*04/05 GSXR 600/750 USD Radial Front end conversion (Cost approx $1200)
*Brand new F&R S3 Performance Wave rotors.. havent even touched pads yet.
*Acewell digital guage
*Aztech Bike bits Duster resi covers
*2001 B12 switchgear (just newer)
*2001 B12 master cylinders
*brand new hel brake and clutch lines
*brand new K&N air filter
*All original plastics
*Original forks if you want em
*Just recently done valve clearances.
*Pro Taper Evo Bars
*new stainless bolt kit for everything still in bags
*2001 valve cover to replace old scratched one
*Paint only has about 400kms on it but its nearly 4 years old..
*Pretty confident the tyres have perished and the battery is going flat.
*bike runs sweat as but only at idle, i was balancing carbs and $260 motion pro carb balancer shit itself midway through due to fault in product.. so i left it as it sat.. once they are balanced i'd imagine it would run like it used to.. great..

The only thing I'm keeping out of the whole build are the new twin dominators. If no-one wants it, it'll just sit there until i find a regod donor katana or GSXR 11 to transplant all my parts too.. but some spending money for the R1 would be nice.
I was thinking somewhere in the area of 3k only because i've been seeing these engines go for good money and just the amount of money i spent on it.. (der i know you never make your money back) but let me know if i'm having a laugh too.. dont care if you buy the whole thing and part it yourself and make more, maybe i'll shed a tear or 2..
