Anyone know a decent bike transporter?

Im lookin at buyin a bike from Qld, just wondering who's had a bike transported ( between Vic and Qld preferably ) and how was your experience, price range i should be lookin at, etc. I'm happy to pick it up from the depot in Melbourne, and the other bike is on the Goldcoast. Does anyone have a mate that might be lookin for a cashie??? Lol, its worth a try, cheers.:D

I have used Fergusons twice now from Brissy to Shep, first time was near $400 this time was $480 but needed pickup from brissy burbs, last was delivered to depot, not exactly cheap but i do get service to Shep which some won't do

i have used fergusons heaps and they are good glen

thats cheap,i'm trying to get a blackbird motor up to Qld from SA for a mate.weighs about 100kg's and is on a 800x800 pallet.So far he's had quotes of 600-1100 bux from courier companys,might try Krusty,but he probly only does complete bikes.

nah mate they also take some freight if they dont have enough bikes to cart

fergs are ok if its city to city $480 s about right for a bulk carrier i charge about $300 from syd- brissy but only if i can fill the van and trailer up otherwise its not worth my while
havent had anything to do with the rest as they were all closed for a month at xmas when i needed to get an rs250 to cairns last december
davo i tried the guys i know in Vic but as you know we re concentrating on recovery more than anything else
locally i can move stuff [ie inside NSW ]unless im actually travelling interstate like i did for the brissy show [ask muzz he ll give me a ref lol]]

have a word with phill he has a few contacts at Toll and they done favours for me in the past

Once I have the 5 speed in Burtha the bus i will be doing the occasional run for extra cash but thats a month away sorry.
