Hey all, this is my gsxr750 bought just before xmas.
With the help of Pab13 and Zpower it is back on the road. It had some suss wiring when they took it apart to hook up the digital speedo/tacho.
Only been riding it for the last couple of weeks. Something wrong with 1st and 2nd gear though, loud clunking noise, when accelerating. Power is still there though.

yeah im good mate and that doesnt sound to good about the gearbox mate that will be an expensive fix i would imagine unless you take the donk out yourself with the help of pab and mick that would save some of your hard earned cash mate

not a hard fix pull it out ,the motor ,flip it upside down. pull off the sump n have a look ,youl see the selector /if its missing the tip of the selector finger thats your culprit,,you can pull the sump off, and replace it ,,its not that hard to do you dont need to strip the whole motor,parts and gaskets were around $280 when i did my mates bike ,and it took me 1 saturday and one sunday he rode it to work on monday, , by the way we used a 2nd hand selector ,and he thing is still going hard today that was 18months ago ,cheers pete

yeah the gixxer is fucking awesome mate but it eats up rear tyres nice and fast
