View Full Version : GSXR brake caliper swap - 6 spot to 4 spot

Quick one; will the 6 piston Tokico front calipers from a 93-98 GSXR 1100 (USD forks) swap straight over for the 4 piston Nissins on my 1990 model (RWU forks)? I know they have the same bolt spacing at least (~91mm). Thanks.

you will need to swap the master cylinder as well or put up with a spongy feel at the lever if your master cylinder has 1/4 embossed on the under side. The master cylinder you will need has 5/8 embossed on the under side of it so any with that on them should do the job.
