I also finished off the radiator & fan mount.I went to paint them & realised I was out of Black so that's tommorow's job. I also whipped up a Radiator guard, which is off to the powdercoaters tommorow.[8D]

So these just cover the original hoses then , for looks[?]
What sought of cash do these items demand? and the ends Ben do they have be crimped of on to the hoses or is it a screw fitting

it just slides over the rubber hoses, and the ends have hose clamps in em.

you can get cheap kits from auto pro and places like that.

Yes they cover the existing hose. I use this type of thing on hoses that have moulded bends in them, because you can't get moulded braided hose, (that I know of) & straight braided hose won't conform to the tight bends you need.
The ends have hose clamps built into them.
About $200-$300 to do the main rad hoses, although there is cheaper kits around I like the look of the better quality stuff.

By contrast the other side looks quite bare. (For now anyway).
I wanted to keep the frame clean looking so I ran the top hose inside the frame instead of the standard position up the out side & through the hole.

The radiator setup looks factory! Really nice.

Any plans for the ram air holes? Just some mesh covers???

I am not convinced about the front fender. Looks a bit big for the light unit(in my opinion). Might be less noticable once the paints done, carbon fenders tend to look huge.

Cant have you thinking you are bloody perfect!!

Everything else is sublime.............as usual.

EXBEN
02-03-2007, 10:43 PM
Ok there is under four weeks to go, so I guess it's time for a check list of things that still need doing......

* Make a radiator overflow tank
* Make the switchgear
* Make an exhaust system
* Make a subframe once the seat unit arrives
* Make a seat pad
* Mount the [u]NEW FRONT GUARD </u>when it turn's up
* Mount all the the electrical components & rewire the bike
* Paint the bike
* Get it registered
* Run it in ( I can see this happening on the way to Dubbo)
* Get everyone elses shit done too
" Big Gulp"..................I'd better get a move on.

Yes the hose is standard, just cut down to suit. The rad outlet is modified to point in the right direction tho, & the thermostat housing is custom.
Yes the filler is high enough.
As for the bodywork.......soon I hope.
